Send a Good thought or three please
A little while ago, I got a call from my friend (and co-worker)s husband, calling from the ER. On the weekly Velo Club road ride (which Bob tried to talk us into going on earlier tonight) She was hit by a truck, hit and run. Word is she will be OK, but we're worried about her so please send a couple good thoughts or prayers her way. It's a scary thing to happen, and the scariest part is it could be any one of us out there on the road.

oh my God - my heart just stops every time I hear about a cyclist vs. car. I hope she will be OK! You should be a good friend and take her for a ride in a few months, she'll need some major support for the PTSD.

EEEyowch! Sorry to hear it...I'll wish your friend well.
Cars avoid me for obvious reasons, but sometimes trucks take thier chances...I've had luck with those crappy foreign trucks, but the ones made in the good ol' USofA sometimes leave a mark.
I'll say a prayer for your friend. Cars are the reason I don't bike and we have bike lanes here.
