Nick is good kid, very smart. He does well on his tests and doesn't turn in homework.
Lucas is a diligent student, does what is expected of him, and is a little too social at times.
I spent 2 1/2 hours hearing this today. I knew it before I got out of bed.

That's funny! Sounds like you have good kids.
I found out at one of my son's conferences that his grade in one class was a whole letter lower that it should be because he didn't turn in tissues! I distinctly remember buying that box of kleenex at 9pm the same day he brought his list home. *sigh*
That, my lady, is the irony of parent/teacher conferences.
Gross.
2 1/2 hours? What the heck do they talk to you about for 2 1/2 hours? We get 20 minutes per kid, if everyone is running on time.
Not sure if the school likes our kids, they keep sending them back in the afternoon?
And now I hear they don't want them at all tomorrow.
I'll go with Jeff, mine are short and to the point. Most people are not surprised by what I have to say, although I do get that one parent who, once a year, will insist that THEIR child (who is making Ds) was an HONOR student last year. Then, when I check, turns out they were a C-D student. Where do the illusions come from?
